Abstract
Children with special needs are those who are far removed from the average in
terms of their mental, educational, social, emotional or physical abilities, so that they need
a kind of services and care to enable them to maximize their abilities.
The teacher of special education should receive specialized training and continuous
training, so that he can perform the educational situation, but practice it successfully and
according to the individual needs of learners and take into account this difference so that the
variety of strategies and teaching methods provided to them each according to his abilities and
needs
In this regard, this intervention comes to clarify the concept of people with special
needs and professional and academic requirements to prepare the teacher of special education
and its tasks, focusing on the strategies used to teach people with special needs.
