That is what expands increasingly the number of connected devices and mainly the amount of data which is often processed in the cloud. However, the cloud computing induces several problems like higher costs and very consequent latency which affects the Quality of Experience (QoE) of the user. To that aim, the concept of the fog computing has been proposed to bring the services closer to the end devices. But, the problem is how to place services of those mobile users in fog / edge devices. Our contribution is the proposition of three service placement policies in the context of a mobile fog environment. The first one leads to combine two constraints while placing services; the distance between the mobile and the fog node in addition to load balancing. In he second one, we added a proximity filter to the precedent. And in the last one, we studied real network traces which conducted us to combine proximity and user mobility prediction based on habits. In general, our objective was to improve QoE by minimizing service migrations and thus maximizing availability by reducing downtime. In addition, we targeted to take into account resource availability of the fog devices. Our propositions have been successfully tested under the iFogSim simulation tool. | En ligne : | D:\CD.THESE.2022\MASTER.INF\GOUCEM I..PDF | Format de la ressource électronique : | PDF | Permalink : | ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36814 |
