Titre : Introduction to time-delay systems : analysis and control Type de document : texte imprime Auteurs : Emilia Fridman Editeur : Cham : Birkhäuser Année de publication : cop. 2014 Collection : Systems & control (Print), ISSN 2324-9749 Importance : (XVIII-362 p.) Présentation : ill. Format : 25 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-319-09392-5 Note générale : Bibliogr. Index Langues : Anglais Mots-clés : Time delay systems Systèmes à retard Index. décimale : 62983 Résumé :
The beginning of the 21st century can be characterized as the" time-delay boom" leading to numerous important results. The purpose of this book is two-fold, to familiarize the non-expert reader with time-delay systems and to provide a systematic treatment of modern ideas and techniques for experts. This book is based on the course "Introduction to time-delay systems" for graduate students in Engineering and Applied Mathematics that the author taught in Tel Aviv University in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 academic years. The sufficient background to follow most of the material are the undergraduate courses in mathematics and an introduction to control. The book leads the reader from some basic classical results on time-delay systems to recent developments on Lyapunov-based analysis and design with applications to the hot topics of sampled-data and network-based control. The objective is to provide useful tools that will allow the reader not only to apply the existing methods, but also to develop new ones. It should be of interest for researchers working in the field, for graduate students in engineering and applied mathematics, and for practicing engineers. It may also be used as a textbook for a graduate course on time-delay systems.En ligne : https://www.amazon.fr/Introduction-Time-Delay-Systems-Analysis-Control/dp/331909 [...] Permalink : ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9626 Introduction to time-delay systems : analysis and control [texte imprime] / Emilia Fridman . - Cham : Birkhäuser, cop. 2014 . - (XVIII-362 p.) : ill. ; 25 cm. - (Systems & control (Print), ISSN 2324-9749) .

Titre : Linear Feedback Controls : The Essentials Type de document : texte imprime Auteurs : Haidekker, Mark A., Auteur Editeur : New York : Elsevier Année de publication : 2013 Importance : XIII-268 p. Présentation : ill., couv. ill. en coul. Format : 24 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-0-12-405875-0 Note générale :
Bibliogr. p. [261]. Glossaire.Langues : Anglais Mots-clés : Systèmes à réaction Systèmes, Théorie des Commande automatique Régulateurs PID Feedback control systems Index. décimale : 62983 Résumé : The design of control systems is at the very core of engineering. Feedback controls are ubiquitous, ranging from simple room thermostats to airplane engine control. Helping to make sense of this wide-ranging field, this book provides a new approach by keeping a tight focus on the essentials with a limited, yet consistent set of examples. Analysis and design methods are explained in terms of theory and practice. The book covers classical, linear feedback controls, and linear approximations are used when needed. In parallel, the book covers time-discrete (digital) control systems and juxtaposes time-continuous and time-discrete treatment when needed. One chapter covers the industry-standard PID control, and one chapter provides several design examples with proposed solutions to commonly encountered design problems.
The book is ideal for upper level students in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biological/biomedical engineering, chemical engineering and agricultural and environmental engineering and provides a helpful refresher or introduction for graduate students and professionals
Focuses on the essentials of control fundamentals, system analysis, mathematical description and modeling, and control design to guide the reader
Illustrates the theory and practical application for each point using real-world examples
Strands weave throughout the book, allowing the reader to understand clearly the use and limits of different analysis and design toolsNote de contenu : PART I FUZZY LOGIC AND FUZZY CONTROL
1. Introduction to intelligent systems and soft computing
2. Fundamentals of fuzzy logic systems
3. Fuzzy logic control
PART II CONNECTIONIST MODELING AND NEURAL NETWORKS
4. Fundamentals of artificial neural networks
5. Major classes of neural networks
6. Dynamic neural networks and their applications to control and chaos prediction
7. Neuro-fuzzy systems
PART III EVOLUTIONARY AND SOFT COMPUTING
8. Evolutionary computing
PART IV APPLICATIONS AND CASE STUDIES
9. Soft computing for smart machine design
10. Tools of soft computing in real-world application
