Nous nous sommes int\u00e9ress\u00e9s tout le long de ce travail \u00e0 une plante m\u00e9dicinale tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pondu en Alg\u00e9rie, cette plante est connue sous le nom scientifique <em>d\u2019Artemisia Herba Alba<\/em>. Cette derni\u00e8re contient dans sa composition chimique une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de mol\u00e9cules organiques susceptibles d\u2019inhiber la corrosion de l\u2019aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons proc\u00e9d\u00e9 dans un premier temps \u00e0 l\u2019extraction de l\u2019huile essentielle de la plante <em>Artemisia Herba Alba<\/em> par hydrodistillation, nous avons pu par la suite identifier les mol\u00e9cules volatiles de l\u2019huile essentielle extraite. Le comportement \u00e9lectrochimique de l\u2019aluminium non alli\u00e9 dans la solution molaire de l\u2019acide chlorhydrique a\u00e9r\u00e9e en l\u2019absence et en pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019HEAHA a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9 par les m\u00e9thodes de suivies de la corrosion (spectroscopie d\u2019imp\u00e9dance \u00e9lectrochimique (SIE), polarisation potentiodynamique (PPD)\u2026). L\u2019huile essentielle de <em>l\u2019Artemisia Herba Alba<\/em> pr\u00e9sente une bonne protection vis-\u00e0-vis de la corrosion de l\u2019aluminium dans le milieu d\u2019\u00e9tude. D\u2019autres techniques non \u00e9lectrochimiques tels que la m\u00e9thode de perte de masse et les observations au microscope \u00e9lectronique \u00e0 balayage (MEB), nous ont permis de confirmer et de valider les r\u00e9sultats obtenus par les techniques \u00e9lectrochimiques.<\/p>\n<p>Nous d\u00e9crivons dans un second temps, l\u2019extraction aqueuse des phytocompos\u00e9s de l\u2019AHA, par la suite nous avons \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l\u2019influence de ces derniers sur l\u2019inhibition de la corrosion de l\u2019alliage d\u2019aluminium 2024-T3 dans la solution HCl 1mol\/L. Les m\u00eames techniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es que dans la premi\u00e8re partie. En derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape dans cette partie, nous avons \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l\u2019effet synergique d\u2019addition des ions iodures \u00e0 l\u2019extrait aqueux sur la protection de l\u2019alliage. En dernier lieu, nous avons montr\u00e9 l\u2019influence des solvants sur l\u2019extraction des compos\u00e9s de l\u2019AHA, ensuite nous avons test\u00e9 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 inhibitrice des diff\u00e9rentes mol\u00e9cules pr\u00e9sentent dans les extraits sur la corrosion de l\u2019alliage 2024-T3 dans la solution de chlorure de sodium 0.05mol\/L. This plant is known under the scientific name of <em>Artemisia Herba Alba<\/em>. This plant contains in its chemical composition a variety of organic molecules likely to inhibit the corrosion of aluminium. We first extracted the essential oil from the <em>Artemisia Herba Alba<\/em> plant by hydrodistillation and then identified the volatile molecules of the extracted essential oil. The electrochemical behaviour of unalloyed aluminium in aerated hydrochloric acid molar solution in the absence and presence of HEAHA was studied by corrosion monitoring methods (electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), potentiodynamic polarisation (PPD)&#8230;). The essential oil of <em>Artemisia Herba Alba<\/em> presents a good protection against aluminium corrosion in the study environment. Other non-electrochemical techniques such as the mass loss method and scanning electron microscope (SEM) observations allowed us to confirm and validate the results obtained by the electrochemical techniques.<\/p>\n<p>In a second step, we describe the aqueous extraction of the AHA phytocompounds, after which we studied their influence on the corrosion inhibition of the 2024-T3 aluminium alloy in the 1mol\/L HCl solution. The same techniques were used as in the first part. As a final step in this part, we studied the synergistic effect of addition of iodide ions to the aqueous extract on the protection of the alloy. Finally, we showed the influence of solvents on the extraction of the HAA compounds, and then we tested the inhibitory efficacy of the different molecules present in the extracts on the corrosion of the 2024-T3 alloy in the 0.05mol\/L sodium chloride solution.
