He has contributed to numerous studies on multiphase flows, solid particle transport, and nanofluid applications in solar energy. His work has been published in international journals and conference proceedings, including studies on hydraulic transport in pipelines, sedimentation modeling, and the thermophysical properties of nanofluids .
Prof. Fatma TAOUCHE-KHELOUI
Conference Chair
Prof. Taouche-Kheloui specializes in structural engineering, with a focus on reinforced concrete structures, composite materials, and sustainable construction techniques. Her research encompasses the behavior of reinforced concrete elements under various loading conditions, the use of composite materials for structural strengthening, and the incorporation of recycled materials in concrete.
Prof. Karima BOUZELHA
Scientific Committee Chair
A professor at Mouloud Mammeri University in Tizi Ouzou. She is a specialist in risk analysis of hydraulic structures, particularly dams and reservoirs. Actively involved in research and higher education, she is committed to promoting the safety and sustainability of these structures by devlopment innovative methodologies and their application to real-world case studies. She also holds key positions as chair and member of several scientific committees and serves on the habilitation commission.
Prof. Madjid ALMANSBA
Scientific Committee Chair
His research primarily focuses on materials science, particularly in the areas of damage mechanics, elastoplasticity, and the mechanical behavior of advanced materials. In addition to his research, Almansba has been involved in collaborative projects exploring the use of recycled materials in construction, such as the incorporation of biodegradable waste into structures.
Dr Samir TIACHACHT
Scientific Committee Chair
Dr. Samir Tiachacht is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria. His research specializes in vibration-based structural health monitoring (SHM), with a particular focus on damage detection and quantification in beam systems and steel–concrete connections. He develops innovative solutions to inverse problems in structural mechanics using bio-inspired optimization algorithms.
Dr. Abdelmadjid SI SALEM
Organizing Committee Chair
Holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Materials Engineering and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi Ouzou.
