The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has launched a call for nominations for mandate holders to be appointed at the 55th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), to be held in Geneva from February 26 to April 5, 2024.
The mandates in question are :
- Special Rapporteur on the issue of human rights obligations relating to the enjoyment of a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment.
- Working group on the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas.
Candidates wishing to apply are invited to submit their application, including a letter of motivation, via the online application procedure by noon (Geneva time) onNovember 30, 2023.
