Please find below a copy of the letter sent by Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), to the Organization's Member States, inviting them to submit nominations for the 2023 edition of the UNESCO-Carlos J. Finlay Prize for Microbiology.
The Director-General of UNESCO recalls that the UNESCO-Carlos J. Finlay Prize for Microbiology, financed by the Government of Cuba, rewards individuals, groups, institutes or organizations that have made a major contribution to the discipline of microbiology and its applications.
Applications must be submitted by completing the attached application form by October 10, 2023.
