Tizi-Ouzou's Mouloud Mammeri University took part in the regional university judo and athletics championship organized by the University of Boumerdes on 07/06/2021. Most of our athletes qualified for the national university championship, which will take place from 02/07/2021 to 12/07/2021.

During a regional competition organized by the University of BOUMERDES ON 07/JUNE 2021 the omnisports hall for the national qualifications of the university games which will begin from 02/07/20121 until 12/07/2021 the athletes entered judo (girls and boys) is 17 athletes
Boys in the following categories 07 athletes
- AIT MAAMAR MERZOUK - 60kg qualified in 1st place 02 bouts win with IPPON
- AKSIL RYAN -66kg qualified in 2nd place 02 bouts 1 won with ippon the second lost in the final.
- OUDJANE KARIM -70kg qualified in 1st place with 02 bouts won by ippon.
- MOUKAH KHADIR -90 qualified in 1st place with 02 bouts won by ippon.
- KABECHE ALI -100kg qualification at the heroic 02 place, given that the athlete is actually in the -90kg category.
- 02 other athletes, in this case AOUGUEBI AHMED lost in third place with a fight won with ippon and CHERIEF LOUNAS are eliminated.
Girls' participation is 11 athletes

Handball
A young team created this year by the cultural, sports and scientific activities department of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Management Sciences has distinguished itself in a more than honorable participation of the faculty's handball section in the regional phase competition as part of the university games organized by the regional league of BOUMERDES on 02/06/2021 at the BOUDOUAOU sports hall.
Despite a lack of experience and training, the team defended itself well against a selection from the University of BOUMERDES, losing 21/20.
A bright future for this young team.
