Laboratory history
The research laboratory brings together over thirty researchers in five multidisciplinary teams.
These are: training young researchers, contributing to research in the various fields of interest to the laboratory, and promoting the value of our work through collaboration with industrial companies. The main objective of the research teams is to develop methods and tools for better control of the integration of functions in the design and operation of production systems.
We are interested in methods and tools for modeling, optimizing and simulating production systems with a view to their design and control. These methods concern discrete-event systems, linear and non-linear continuous systems, and hybrid systems. Another laboratory activity is dedicated to the study of overvoltages in transformer windings, with a view to improving insulation coordination.
