Laboratory history
The Laboratoire Élaborationet Caractérisationdes Matériauxet Modélisation(LEC2M) is dedicated to materials research. The four (04) teams making up this entity have skills ranging from the design of new materials to the modeling of their in-service behavior and/or the various mechanisms governing their development, including their characterization by various tests (field analysis, thermal fatigue, etc.) and the study of their degradation (corrosion, aging, fracture damage, etc.).
Drawing on the equipment available within LEC2M and that of its academic and industrial partners, the laboratory also aims to transfer the experimental and numerical tools developed and published by its various teams to the industrial world.
